2011 Values & Draft Guide

The following is all you will need for draft day.  The Deep Leagues Chart presents player values in excel format using current major league depth charts.  This format, which has been used in our league for years, provides a manageable way to navigate through players at your draft and get an idea of the player’s value and his team’s roster situation.  For players in “non-auction” leagues, we also created a “Top 300 List” based primarily on our spreadsheet values.

The chart is a work in progress until Opening Day.  We update it regularly as we conduct more research going position-by-position to create basic projections for each player.  To compliment the Deep Leagues Chart, below are our position rankings and projections for the 2011 season.  For us, fantasy baseball is a function of risk.  So the projections try to be conservative outlooks while the values represent the likelihood of the player achieving those projections.

And because we play in deep leagues, prospects are just as important if not more so.
