Sleeper List: May 2011

Sleeper List: May 2011

The following is a non-exclusive list of players not in the Top 250 designed mainly to give owners in really deep leagues (i.e., where you can keep 10+ prospects) a few possible pickup ideas. The players are not listed in any particular order, and the list focuses on potential breakouts, a few big names from last leason who are showing some signs of improvement, and a few players with extremely impressive numbers (i.e., Brad Meyers w/ 51 k’s and 1 BB).  The list also provides an excuse for people to learn some possible new names, and discuss guys who deserve to be in the Top 250.  It is questionable listing some of the well-known guys like Crosby and Mier as “sleepers,” but they make great pickups in leagues where their owner dropped them too quickly.

Feedback is appreciated, and if you know of any potential breakout prospects you’ve been following, definitely let us know.
