Top 250 Prospects Update: July 10, 2011

Top 250 Prospects Update: July 10, 2011

Here is this week’s update to the Top 250 Prospect List.  Great Futures Game tonight!  As the season progresses, the list is getting really crowded with current rookies, rising prospects, recent draftees, and international signings. I considered expanding the list, but instead, I decided to make the “also considered” list much longer so we’ll have an extensive list of possible additions. I am struggling finding players to remove, so if anybody sees a player who doesn’t belong on the list, suggestions are helpful.

Also, we are looking to “hire” somebody to help us with web design stuff on the site, so if you have experience with web design and have any interest, send me an email at rboneill@deepleagues.com.

I was surprised the Angels promoted the 19-year old Trout to the major leagues.

If you can get “Top 5” value, part of me thinks now is a good time to sell high on Pineda.
